Job summary

AmeriCare Plus seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor for PRN in Suffolk and surrounding areas. You will perform initial client assessments and supervisory visits for home-based personal care clients, with no bedside shifts or rigid schedule, offering flexible, meaningful nursing work.

Ideal candidates have Virginia RN license, 1+ year in hospital/home health, and strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license or compact license
• At least 1 year of nursing experience in hospital, home health, rehab or similar setting
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to clients' homes
• Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
• Home care or Medicaid experience preferred

Get Paid Per Visit

• Initial Client Assessment $65 per visit
• 6-Month Reassessment $55 per visit
• Missed Visit (Client Not Home) $30
• In-Service / Training Class $30
• Occasional Aide Clinical Orientation $20
• Office / Administrative Work $20 per hour

Extra Mileage Bonus: Earn an additional $5 per visit for clients located more than 30 miles from our office.

What We're Looking For

• Active Virginia RN license or compact license valid in Virginia
• At least one year of nursing experience in a hospital, home health, rehabilitation, or similar setting
• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to clients' homes
• Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
• Home care or Medicaid experience is preferred!
