Job summary

AmeriCare Plus in Chesapeake and surrounding areas seeks an RN Supervisor (PRN) to perform initial assessments and supervisory visits for home-based clients. The role offers flexible scheduling and travel to clients' homes, with no mandatory 12‑hour shifts or weekends.

Ideal candidates hold a Virginia RN license (or compact) and have at least 1 year of nursing experience in hospital, home health, or rehab settings. Strong assessment and documentation skills are essential.

• Active Virginia RN license or compact license valid in Virginia.
• At least one year of nursing experience in a hospital, home health, rehabilitation, or similar setting.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to clients' homes.
• Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
• Home care or Medicaid experience is preferred!

Responsibilities

• Complete initial assessments and supervisory visits for clients in their homes.
• Plan visits around availability and group appointments by location.
• No bedside shifts or hands-on skilled nursing; supervisory role.

We're looking for compassionate, experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team on a PRN basis, completing initial assessments and supervisory visits for clients receiving personal care services in their homes.

No bedside shifts. No hands‑on skilled nursing. No rigid schedule. Just meaningful work that fits your life.

Get Paid Per Visit

• $65 per visit for Initial Client Assessment
• $55 per visit for 6-Month Reassessment
• $30 for Missed Visit (Client Not Home)
• $30 for In-Service / Training Class
• $20 for Occasional Aide Clinical Orientation
• $20 per hour for Office / Administrative Work

Extra Mileage Bonus: Earn an additional $5 per visit for clients located more than 30 miles from our office.

What We're Looking For
