Job summary

AmeriCare Plus in Virginia is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our PRN team as Supervisors for home-based personal care clients in the Middle Peninsula and surrounding areas. This role focuses on initial assessments and supervisory visits with no bedside shifts or weekend requirements.

You'll plan visits around your schedule, enjoy flexible hours, and earn per-visit pay plus occasional mileage incentives, plus occasional admin tasks.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license or compact license valid in Virginia.
• At least one year of nursing experience in a hospital, home health, rehabilitation, or similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Complete initial client assessments and supervisory visits at clients' homes.
• No bedside shifts, weekends, or long shifts.
• Travel to homes with reliable transportation.
• Provide caregiver guidance and document care plans.

We're looking for compassionate, experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team on a PRN basis, completing initial assessments and supervisory visits for clients receiving personal care services in their homes.

• Missed Visit (Client Not Home)$30
• In-Service / Training Class$30
• Occasional Aide Clinical Orientation$20
• Office / Administrative Work$20 per hour

Earn an additional $5 per visit for clients located more than 30 miles from our office.

What We're Looking For

• Active Virginia RN license or compact license valid in Virginia

• At least one year of nursing experience in a hospital, home health, rehabilitation, or similar setting

• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to clients' homes

• Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills

• Home care or Medicaid experience is a plus, but not required!
