Job summary

AmeriCare Plus in Lexington, VA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our PRN team as an RN Supervisor. You will perform initial assessments and supervise visits for clients receiving in-home personal care services, with no bedside shifts and no rigid schedule.

This role offers flexible visits, the ability to plan around your availability, and per-visit pay with mileage bonuses for longer drives.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license or compact license valid in Virginia.
• At least one year of nursing experience in hospital, home health, rehabilitation or similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Complete initial client assessments and supervise visits for home care.
• Coordinate with caregivers to ensure quality care and safety.

We're looking for compassionate, experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team on a PRN basis, completing initial assessments and supervisory visits for clients receiving personal care services in their homes.

Get Paid Per Visit

• Initial Client Assessment $65 per visit
• 6-Month Reassessment $55 per visit
• Missed Visit (Client Not Home) $30
• In-Service / Training Class $30
• Occasional Aide Clinical Orientation $20
• Office / Administrative Work $20 per hour

Extra Mileage Bonus: Earn an additional $5 per visit for clients located more than 30 miles from our office.

What We're Looking For

• Active Virginia RN license or compact license valid in Virginia
• At least one year of nursing experience in a hospital, home health, rehabilitation, or similar setting
• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to clients' homes
• Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
• Home care or Medicaid experience is preferred!
