Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct nursing care at Resurrection Village Life Center in Chicago, IL. You will implement care plans, document changes, and coordinate with physicians and the care team to ensure seamless patient flow.

Minimum requirements include RN licensure and BLS within 30 days, with a Diploma in Nursing or equivalent licensure at hire; one year LTC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Registered Nurse licensure required.
• Diploma in Nursing or equivalent licensure at hire.

• Coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to carry out orders and ensure seamless care.
• Promote resident safety and support effective discharge planning.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Additional Preferences:

• 1 Year of Long Term Care experience preferred.
