Job summary

Ro Health is hiring licensed registered nurses to support public school districts across Missouri for the school year. This in-person role focuses on pediatrics and school health, with a schedule that aligns with school hours, Monday through Friday while school is in session.

You'll manage care for students with chronic health conditions, provide first aid, and coordinate with families, teachers, and healthcare providers.

Qualifications

• MO state nursing license is required.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Current negative TB result is required.
• New grads welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Manage the care of students with chronic health conditions by coordinating with healthcare providers, teachers, and parents.
• 1:1 support that may include g-tube, trach, catheter, diabetic management, seizure precaution, etc.
• Monitor and manage immunization records to ensure compliance with state regulations.
• Provide first aid and emergency care for injuries or sudden illnesses.
• Develop and implement emergency response plans and drills.
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records.
• Communicate with parents regarding their child's health status, concerns, and recommended follow-up care.
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time.
• Potential need to frequently bend, crouch, and lift (up to 40 pounds).
