ECU Health Duplin Hospital in Kenansville, NC is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct care in the Women’s Center, nights with rotating weekends and holidays. This role requires a compassionate, patient-centered approach and adherence to hospital policies.

You'll assess, plan, implement, and document care in collaboration with patients and families, while following NC Nursing Practice Act and professional standards.

Formación

• Diploma in Nursing or higher required.
• Active NC RN license or licensure in NC Licensure Compact state.
• AHA Basic Life Support certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide nursing care in accordance with NC Board of Nursing Act, ANA Standards, and ECU Health policies.
• Coordinate and deliver care including data collection, assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Promote effective team functioning and delegate tasks per NC Nurse Practice Act.

Diploma in Nursing, Associates in Nursing or higher

Current NC RN license or licensure in participating NC NLC state

Position Summary

$30K Commitment Incentive

• Responsible to provide care in accordance with the North Carolina Board of Nursing-Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association Standards of Practice and other standards established by profession/professional groups, regulating bodies/agents. Nursing care will be delivered in accordance with ECU Health and entity specific nursing policies, procedures and professional standards of care/practice.
• Responsible for the provision and coordination of nursing care to include the collection and analysis of assessment data, identification of expected outcomes and development of plan of care in collaboration with the patient/family and other interdisciplinary team members. Identifies interventions to attain expected outcomes, implements the interventions identified in the plan of care, evaluates the progress of the patient/family toward attainment of outcomes, and documents the process. This care includes sensitivity to age specific and unique needs of the patient/family.
• Promotes and evaluates the effective functioning of the health care team. Collaborates with health care team members to meet the identified needs of the patient/family throughout the episode of care. Delegates tasks and activities as appropriate and governed by NC Nurse Practice Act.

Minimum Requirements

• Diploma in Nursing, Associates in Nursing or higher
• Current NC RN license or licensure to practice in a participating Nurse Licensure Compact state Health Care Provider is required.
• AHA Basic Life Support is required.

Pay Range

• Final compensation is determined at the offer stage.

• Location/Department: ECU Health Duplin (Kenansville, NC) - Women's Center (15 patient beds, 3 laboring beds)
• This position is full-time (36hrs/week) nights with rotating weekends and holidays

In addition to providing general medical and surgical services, ECU Health Duplin Hospital offers chemotherapy and other cancer infusion interventions and has earned national designation as a Primary Stroke Center.
