Newark Beth Israel Medical Center is seeking an RN for the Telemetry Float Pool in Newark, NJ. The role is full-time, night shift, 7:00pm–7:30am, with every-other-weekend requirements.

The position requires active NJ RN licensure or multistate license with NJ endorsement, BLS, and 1+ year telemetry/medical-surgical experience. Bachelor's degree preferred; comprehensive benefits apply.

Required Certifications and Licenses:

• Active NJ RN License or Multistate RN License with NJ Endorsement
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association

Scheduling Requirements:

• Full Time

Essential Functions:

The role of the Professional Registered Nurse is to provide quality nursing care in collaboration with the medical staff and within the guidelines of the New Jersey State Nurse Practice Act. It is the responsibility of the Professional Nurse to implement the Hospital's Mission and goals through established policies, procedures and performance-improvement activities. Implementation of these goals occurs through the organization and administration of individualized age-specific professional nursing care to patients within an assigned unit of the hospital. An understanding of the principles of growth and development will be incorporated to assess each patient's age-specific needs and determine age-specific treatment modalities.
