RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Telemetry Float Pool at the Main Hospital – New Brunswick. The role requires a NJ RN license, BLS, and telemetry/acute care experience, with a preference for a BSN and ACLS/CBNC certifications. The position offers day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with weekend/holiday rotations, 36 hours per week, and an hourly pay range of $49.03–$72.39.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• 1 year of acute care, telemetry, or medical-surgical RN experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing strongly preferred or must be completed within 5 years of hire.
• National Board Certification and ACLS certification preferred or obtained within 6 months of employment.
• Prior 2–3 years of RN experience in acute care, telemetry, or medical-surgical is highly preferred.
• Experience with EMR systems (EPIC) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide telemetry nursing care to assigned patients.
• Monitor and interpret patient vital signs and telemetry data.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, effective patient care.
• Document care activities and patient responses in EPIC EMR.

To be considered for this RN opportunity, you must hold an active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing and a current American Heart Association BLS Certification with at least 1 year of acute care or telemetry or medical surgical RN experience required. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is strongly preferred or must be completed within 5 years upon hire. National Board Certification and ACLS Certification is preferred or must be obtained within 6 months of employment. Prior 2-3 years of RN experience within acute care or telemetry or medical surgical is highly preferred and comfort with electronic medical record systems (EMR) like EPIC. This position offers a Part-Time Day Shift schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday – Friday with weekend and holiday rotations, 36 hours per week, allowing you to build strong patient relationships while maintaining balance.
