RWJBarnabas Health's Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, NJ seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Telemetry Float Pool on a full-time night schedule. You will provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced telemetry unit, collaborating with physicians and the care team.

The ideal candidate holds an active NJ RN license, BLS through AHA, and at least 1 year of telemetry/med-surg experience; BSN strongly preferred. Night shift with weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• Active NJ RN License or Multistate RN License with NJ Endorsement
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing (Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred)
• 1+ years of Telemetry/Medical‑Surgical hospital experience

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in collaboration with the medical staff
• Follow guidelines of the NJ State Nurse Practice Act
• Deliver individualized age‑specific patient care within an assigned unit

Pay Range: $49.28 - $66.05 per hour

Job Overview

Newark Beth Israel Medical Center is a 665‑bed quaternary care teaching hospital. The role of the Professional Registered Nurse is to provide quality nursing care in collaboration with the medical staff and within the guidelines of the New Jersey State Nurse Practice Act.

Required Certifications and Licenses

• Active NJ RN License or Multistate RN License with NJ Endorsement
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing (Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred)
• 1+ years of Telemetry/Medical‑Surgical hospital experience

Scheduling Requirements

• Full Time
• Night Shift – 7:00pm – 7:30am
• Every other weekend required

The Professional Registered Nurse is responsible for implementing the Hospital’s Mission and goals through established policies, procedures and performance‑improvement activities, and providing individualized age‑specific professional nursing care to patients within an assigned unit.
