Texas Health Center for Diagnostics & Surgery in Plano, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) – Surgery for a Full-Time role in the Surgery department.

The position requires nursing licensure, OR experience, and certification training within specified timelines. Work schedule is 36 hours/week (Wed, Thu, Fri) with no weekends or holidays, in a fast-paced, supportive team focused on high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or ADN required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience.
• Prior Operating Room (OR) experience.
• BCLS, ACLS within 90 days of hire; PALS within 90 days of hire.
• CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 90 days required.
• Strong confidentiality, interpersonal skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Work hours:

Full-Time (36 hours per week) – Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Surgery Department Highlights

Here’s What You Need

• Nursing Diploma required or
• Associate’s Degree of Nursing required
• Bachelor’s degree of Nursing preferred
• 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse required
• Previous Operating Room (OR) experience.
• RN – Registered Nurse upon hire required and
• BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required and
• ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days of hire and
• PALS – Pediatric Advance Life Support within 90 days of hire and
• CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 90 days required
• A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment
