Job summary

Texas Health Resources in Plano, TX seeks an Anesthesia Tech (PRN) to support anesthesia providers during routine surgical cases. You will help prepare rooms and equipment, maintain sterile environment, and assist with supply and inventory management.

The role is PRN, Monday–Fridays with variable day shifts, no weekends or holidays. Requires HS diploma, 1 year anesthesia experience preferred, and BCLS certification.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year anesthesia experience preferred.
• BCLS certification prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides support to anesthesia providers during routine and urgent surgical cases and procedures to ensure quality patient care.
• Provides support to anesthesia staff with preparation of room and equipment needed for patient care.
• Protects patient and personal safety by following department processes, maintaining a sterile environment and understanding equipment function.
• Maintains supply, equipment and pharmacy inventory to optimize delivery of anesthesia services.
• Maintains cleanliness and proper function of anesthesia equipment and workroom.
• Able to support Anesthesiologist in Optime.

Here’s What You Need

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent
• At least 1 Year Anesthesia experience (Strongly Preferred)
• BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly (Required)
