Job summary

Jefferson Regional Specialty Hospital within Lifepoint Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our inpatient rehabilitation unit. You will provide compassionate care to patients recovering from stroke, brain or spinal cord injuries, orthopedic injuries, cardiovascular or pulmonary conditions, neurological disorders, amputations, and trauma.

The role requires an active RN license, an associate's degree (BSN preferred), and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Current state or compact state RN license.
• Associate's degree required. BSN preferred.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Six months of Medical/Surgical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately perform patient assessments and identify individual care needs.
• Initiate and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
• Deliver care appropriate to the condition and age of each patient.
• Document medical necessity and nursing activities in a timely and accurate manner.
• Complete and revise Interdisciplinary Care Plans for assigned patients.
• Perform timely and accurate Quality Improvement (QI) assessments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Jefferson Regional and Kindred Rehabilitation Services Unit is a 40-bed acute Inpatient Rehabilitation where you will provide compassionate care to patients alongside a dedicated team of Registered Nurses (RNs). Our team provides compassionate inpatient rehabilitation care to patients recovering from acute injuries, illnesses, or impairments, including stroke, brain or spinal cord injury, orthopedic injury, cardiovascular or pulmonary conditions, neurological disorders, amputation, and trauma. highest level of independence while supporting one another in delivering exceptional care every day.

What We're Looking For

Applicants should have a current state or compact state RN license and possess an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

• Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Experience: Six months of Medical/Surgical experience preferred.
