PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Beaumont is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver, direct, and supervise patient care in a busy inpatient unit. You will plan and coordinate care, discharge planning, and patient education for post-hospitalization and community resources.

The role requires an active RN license in the state (or compact licensure), current BLS, and ACLS within 90 days; Charge Nurse duties may apply with ACLS as a prerequisite.

Competenze

• Current RN license in the state where the hospital resides or compact licensure.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification required within 90 days.
• Experience or readiness for charge nurse responsibilities; ACLS required for Charge Nurses.

Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit. The Registered Nurse plans, coordinates, and provides patient care to include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. May perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required).

Education and Training: Holds a current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates. Current BLS certification is required. Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment. BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment. Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Experience: One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
