Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Beaumont is hiring an Registered Nurse (RN) to join our inpatient team. Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, you will deliver, direct and supervise nursing care for patients admitted to the unit, coordinating interdisciplinary planning and discharge planning.

The role requires an active RN license in the state, BLS, and ACLS certification (ACLS within 90 days). Experience in inpatient medical-surgical care is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Holds a current RN licensure in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure where applicable.
• BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment and must be AHA approved.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct and supervise patient care on the nursing unit.
• Coordinate discharge planning and patient/family teaching for post-hospitalization.
• Perform related duties as assigned, including Charge Nurse responsibilities for ACLS-certified staff.

Education

Registered Nurse licensure (RN) in state of practice

Current BLS certification

ACLS certification (within 90 days)

Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit. The Registered Nurse plans, coordinates, and provides patient care to include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. May perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required).

Education and Training:

Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment. BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment. Experience:

One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
