Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Humble is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our inpatient unit in Humble, TX. The RN will deliver and supervise patient care, coordinate interdisciplinary plans, and support discharge planning for post-hospitalization needs.

Requires current RN licensure in Texas or compact state and BLS; ACLS within 90 days. We offer comprehensive benefits, referral bonuses, and opportunities for advancement within our growing network of facilities.

Qualifications

• Holds a current RN licensure in the state of the hospital or compact licensure.
• BLS certification is required; ACLS within 90 days.
• ACLS certification must be AHA-approved within 90 days of employment; Charge Nurses require ACLS.

Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit. The Registered Nurse plans, coordinates, and provides patient care to include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. May perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required).

Education and Training: Holds a current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates. Current BLS certification is required. Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment. BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment. Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Experience: One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
