Wilson Medical Center in Wilson, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Behavioral Health in a PRN, variable role. You will deliver plan-of-care interventions and act as a patient-care innovator, shaping compassionate journeys for patients in our 19-bed Adult Behavioral Health Unit.

Join a multidisciplinary team that includes CNAs, therapists, social workers and psychiatric providers. Qualifications include BLS and RN license with at least one year of RN experience; on-the-job training

Department/Unit Summary

Join our team in a 19-bed Adult Behavioral Health Unit. Staffed with Registered Nurses (RNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Mental Health Technicians, Social Work Therapists, Recreational Therapists and Psychiatric Providers. Our unit treats a variety of diagnoses such as Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) and substance use disorder (SUD). Patients may present with psychosis, suicidal ideation, homicidal ideation, mania, or exacerbations of mental illness. This role offers an opportunity to work collaboratively in a supportive environment focused on providing quality care and support to individuals experiencing behavioral health crises.
