Job summary

Wilson Medical Center in Wilson, NC is seeking a registered nurse for the Emergency Department on a full-time night schedule with rotating holidays and weekends. A $20,000 commitment bonus is offered to new hires.

You will deliver plan-of-care interventions and help shape patient journeys daily while using our technology to directly impact wellbeing. Strong RN licensure in NC and ED experience are required, with TNCC/NRP/ENPC/CEN preferred.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license in North Carolina
• Nursing degree from an accredited program
• BLS, ACLS and PALS required
• TNCC, NRP, ENPC, CEN preferred
• One year of RN ED experience required

Department/Unit Summary

Join our busy 20-bed ED with an additional 6 patient processing bays and a 6-bed Crisis Stabilization Unit for Behavioral Health patients. With a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4/5, our diverse staff includes RNs, LPNs, CNAs, Paramedics, Unit Secretaries and Providers whose goal is to create a collaborative environment to deliver exceptional care. We take pride in our facility being a Certified Chest Pain and Primary Stroke Center. With an average daily census of 106 patients, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to high-quality emergency medical care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications And Requirements

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a nursing degree from an accredited program. Additional requirements include:

• BLS, ACLS and PALS required
• TNCC, NRP, ENPC, CEN preferred
