Job summary

Wilson Medical Center seeks a compassionate RN to join a 19-bed Adult Behavioral Health Unit on a 3x12 schedule (7a-7p) with rotating weekends and holidays. This in-person role supports Lifepoint Health's mission and offers comprehensive benefits.

Applicants must hold a current state RN license, a degree from an accredited nursing school, and BLS within 30 days. ACLS/PALS within six months, and one year of experience preferred. Strong assessment and crisis-intervention skills are essential.

Join our team in a 19-bed Adult Behavioral Health Unit. Staffed with Registered Nurses (RNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Mental Health Technicians, Social Work Therapists, Recreational Therapists and Psychiatric Providers. Our unit treats a variety of diagnoses such as Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) and Substance Use Disorder (SUD). Patients may present with psychosis, suicidal ideation, homicidal ideation, mania, or exacerbations of mental illness. This role offers an opportunity to work collaboratively in a supportive environment focused on providing quality care and support to individuals experiencing behavioral health crises.

A Registered Nurse (RN), who excels in this role:

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs

What we're looking for- a compassionate nurse with a deep understanding of critical care principles and advanced patient monitoring.

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
