Job summary

Lifepoint Health's Wilson Medical Center is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Med Surge team on a 3x12 shift schedule. You will collaborate with RNs, CNAs, and patient sitters to provide high-quality care to diverse patients and manage critical nursing tasks.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, nursing interventions, accurate documentation, care plan coordination, and ongoing QA assessments.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license and nursing degree from an accredited program.
• BLS and ACLS required.
• New grads welcomed; 1 year RN experience preferred.

Our 22-bed Med Surge unit is split onto two floors with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5/6 is staffed with Registered Nurses (RNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and Patient Sitters providing care for a variety of patients including those on dialysis, diabetes, heart disease, geriatric patients, and recovering surgical patients.

How you'll contribute

A Registered Nurse (RN), who excels in this role:

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs

Qualifications and requirements

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a nursing degree from an accredited program. Additional requirements include:
