Job summary

Lifepoint Health is hiring an Registered Nurse for an in-person role in a 19-bed Adult Behavioral Health Unit in North Carolina. The RN will assess patients, initiate nursing interventions, and document medical necessity while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The position requires an active RN license, BLS within 30 days, ACLS and PALS within six months, and about one year of experience in a clinical setting. A $20,000 commitment bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license
• Degree from an accredited nursing school
• Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire
• ACLS and PALS within six months of hire
• One year of experience preferred

Join our team in a 19-bed Adult Behavioral Health Unit. Staffed with Registered Nurses (RNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Mental Health Technicians, Social Work Therapists, Recreational Therapists and Psychiatric Providers. Our unit treats a variety of diagnoses such as Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) and Substance Use Disorder (SUD). Patients may present with psychosis, suicidal ideation, homicidal ideation, mania, or exacerbations of mental illness. This role offers an opportunity to work collaboratively in a supportive environment focused on providing quality care and support to individuals experiencing behavioral health crises.

A Registered Nurse (RN), who excels in this role:

What we’re looking for- a compassionate nurse with a deep understanding of critical care principles and advanced patient monitoring.

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

• Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred
