This full-time position involves working nights with a commitment of two years, offering a sign-on bonus of $20,000 for long-term commitment. The RN will be responsible for direct patient care, including medication administration and patient monitoring.

Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Overflow

Bonus: $20,000 for a two‑year commitment (one‑year commitment on nights)

Shift: Nights | Full Time | 6:30‑7:00 | Rotating Weekends

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
• Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
• Documents patient care and monitors patient condition, communicating with care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Coordinates patient care across disciplines, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and support needs.
• Provides patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, and circumstances.
• Advocates for the physical and emotional well‑being of patients.
• Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in nursing required; bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license in state of practice.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred.
• Handle with Care certification preferred.
