Job summary

Oklahoma City Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to plan and deliver direct and indirect patient care within an inpatient rehabilitation setting. The role involves coordinating with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team to develop and execute nursing care plans.

You will communicate patient condition changes to physicians and supervisors and participate in discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross; online certification is not acceptable

Responsibilities

• Provides planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care via the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation).
• Develops nursing care plans in coordination with patient, family and interdisciplinary staff as necessary.
• Communicates changes in patient condition with Physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and coworkers as appropriate.
• Participates in discharge planning process.
