Job summary

Oklahoma City Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process. You will develop individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team, and participate in discharge planning.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license with BLS from AHA/Red Cross (online certification not accepted) and have inpatient rehabilitation experience or a strong interest in rehab care.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as an Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross. Online certification is not acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (Assessment, Planning, Intervention, Evaluation).
• Develop and coordinate patient care plans with patients, families and interdisciplinary staff.
• Communicate changes in patient condition with physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager and colleagues.
• Participate in discharge planning and care transitions.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current state licensure as an Registered Nurse
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross. Online certification is not acceptable

• Inpatient rehabilitation experience
