Job summary

Shreveport Rehabilitation Hospital seeks a registered nurse to provide comprehensive patient care within our inpatient rehabilitation unit. You will apply the nursing process to assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient needs with compassionate, evidence‑based care.

Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans and facilitate safe transitions. Strong communication, organization, and time‑management skills are essential in delivering

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross (online certification is not acceptable).
• Experience providing care in an inpatient rehabilitation setting is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and prioritization abilities.

• Provides planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation.
• Develops individualized nursing care plans in coordination with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff as appropriate.
• Communicates clinically significant changes in patient condition to physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and team members as needed.
• Engages in and supports the discharge planning process to help ensure safe and effective transitions of care.

Pay:

Rate of pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications:
