RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Pre/Post Surgical PACU at the New Brunswick facility. The role is a full-time, day shift position with an hourly pay range reflecting New Jersey market rates.

The RN will assess patients, administer evidence-based care, document in EPIC EMR, and participate in rounds with a collaborative team. BLS/ACLS and a NJ license are required or in progress, with strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing.
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.
• Minimum 3 years PACU/CCU or surgical RN experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred or must be completed within 5 years.
• National Board Certification and ACLS preferred or must be obtained within 6 months of employment.
• Experience with EPIC EMR systems.

To be considered for this RN opportunity, you must hold an active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing and a current American Heart Association BLS Certification with at least 3 years of PACU , Critical Care , or Surgical RN experience required. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is strongly preferred or must be completed within 5 years upon hire. National Board Certification and ACLS Certification is preferred or must be obtained within 6 months of employment. PACU or Pre/Post Surgical RN Experience is highly preferred and comfort with electronic medical record systems (EMR) like EPIC. This position offers a 40 Hour Day Shift schedule from 5:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday with weekend and holiday rotations, allowing you to build strong patient relationships while maintaining balance.
