RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Post Intensive Care Unit-I at RWJ New Brunswick. This part-time Day shift role offers a collaborative, patient-centered environment within a leading New Jersey academic health system.

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• BSN is strongly preferred or must be completed within 5 years of hire.
• ACLS certification preferred or to be obtained within 6 months of employment.
• Prior 1–2 years of RN acute care experience and familiarity with EMR (EPIC).

As a Registered Nurse (RN), a typical day may include:

• Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and recognize subtle clinical changes, using your judgment to intervene early and advocate for your patients
• Providing safe, evidence-based medications, treatments, and hands on care grounded in strong clinical judgment
• Serving as a clinical partner to physicians and advanced providers, offering insight that supports timely, well-coordinated care decisions

To be considered for this RN opportunity, you must hold an active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing and a current American Heart Association BLS Certification. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is strongly preferred or must be completed within 5 years upon hire. ACLS Certification is preferred or must be obtained within 6 months of employment. Prior 1-2 years of RN experience within acute care is highly preferred and comfort with electronic medical record systems (EMR) like EPIC. This position offers a Part-Time Day Shift schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday - Friday with weekend and holiday rotations, 36 hours per week, allowing you to build strong patient relationships while maintaining balance.
