Job summary

Inova Fair Oaks Hospital in Fairfax County, VA is seeking an experienced PACU RN for a PRN schedule covering early mornings. The role requires one shift per week with two on-call shifts every six weeks and offers exposure to a wide range of surgical specialties.

You should have a BSN (or ADN with BSN within five years), VA RN license, and ACLS/PALS/BLS. PACU or CCU/ICU/ED background preferred. Inova values safe care, teamwork, and flexible coverage in a high-volume perioperative unit.

Qualifications

• One year of PACU or CC nursing experience is required.
• BSN from an accredited school of nursing; if RN has ADN, BSN must be completed within 5 years of start date.
• Virginia RN license and ACLS, PALS, BLS certifications from AHA are required.

Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is looking for an experienced PACU RN for a PRN (as needed schedule) covering 0545 to1815; 1 shift per week and 2 on-call shifts per six-week schedule required.

Located in western Fairfax County,IFOH'sPre-ophas20 bay unit that runs from 0545-1815 daily and the PACU has 26 bays that run from 0730-2230 daily M-Foffering a comprehensive range of surgical specialties, including spine; joint replacement; retina; breast; gynecology; general; and bariatric weight loss. We performover 10,000 surgical cases annually using some ofthe most advanced technology such asStryker Mako Robotic-Assisted Joint Procedures, Globus Excelsius Robotic Spine Navigation Platform, OrthAlign Precision Navigation and Medtronic StealthStation Navigation.The units are covered with on-call coverage 2000-0730 M-F, weekend and holidays.

RN PACU Qualifications:

• One year of PACU or CC nursing (ICU or ED) experience is required.
• Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associate’s Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
• RN license to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• ACLS, PALS, BLS healthcare provider certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA).

RN PACU PRN Preferred Qualifications:

2 or more years of PACU experience to include PreOp, phase 1 and 2 recovery experience
