Job summary

Inova Health’s Inova Fair Oaks Hospital in Fairfax County seeks an experienced PACU RN for PRN coverage 0545 to 1815, one shift per week and two on-call shifts every six weeks. The PACU unit operates 26 bays, with support for spine, joint replacement, retina, breast, gynecology, general and bariatric surgery, and is equipped with advanced robotics.

Qualifications include one year PACU or CC nursing, BSN preferred (ADN must pursue BSN within 5 years), Virginia RN license, ACLS/PALS/BLS; PRN

Qualifications

• One year of PACU or CC nursing experience is required.
• BSN from an accredited school of nursing; if RN has an ADN, BSN must be completed within 5 years of start date.
• RN license to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• ACLS, PALS, BLS certifications from the American Heart Association.

Job description

Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is looking for an experienced PACU RN for a PRN (as needed schedule) covering 0545 to1815; 1 shift per week and 2 on-call shifts per six-week schedule required.

Located in western Fairfax County, IFOH's Pre-op has 20 bay unit that runs from 0545-1815 daily and the PACU has 26 bays that run from 0730-2230 daily M-F offering a comprehensive range of surgical specialties, including spine; joint replacement; retina; breast; gynecology; general; and bariatric weight loss. We perform over 10,000 surgical cases annually using some of the most advanced technology such as Stryker Mako Robotic‑Assisted Joint Procedures, Globus Excelsius Robotic Spine Navigation Platform, OrthAlign Precision Navigation and Medtronic StealthStation Navigation. The units are covered with on‑call coverage 2000-0730 M-F, weekend and holidays.

RN PACU Qualifications:

• One year of PACU or CC nursing (ICU or ED) experience is required.
• Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associate's Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
• RN license to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• ACLS, PALS, BLS healthcare provider certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA).

RN PACU PRN Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 or more years of PACU experience to include PreOp, phase 1 and 2 recovery experience
