North Alabama Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse in the PACU for full-time day shifts. You will provide specialized perioperative care, monitor waking patients, and collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the perioperative team to ensure safe recovery.
Requirements include an active RN license, Associate’s Degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred), BLS; ACLS/PALS and Handle with Care are desirable.

Physical Requirements: Frequent standing, walking, lifting/moving patients, and repetitive hand/arm movements. Regular exposure to biological and chemical hazards, including blood and bodily fluids, hazardous medications, and latex.
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.
Associate's Degree in Nursing required (current RN licensure accepted in lieu of degree); Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Current RN license in state of practice; BLS required; ACLS and PALS within 1 year of hire (PALS not required for Pain Clinic RNs).
