Job summary

North Alabama Medical Center's Progressive Care Unit (PCU) is hiring a Registered Nurse for the night shift. PCU nurses deliver care bridging critical care and medical-surgical services with close patient monitoring and advanced nursing skills.

Qualifications

  • Current state RN license required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • ACLS required within six months of hire.
  • New grads welcomed to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
  • Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
  • Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
  • Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
  • Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
  • Performs timely and accurate QI assessments.

How You'll Contribute

  • Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs

Schedule: 3 x12 7:00PM- 7:00AM
What We're Looking For

Applicants should have a current state RN license. Additional requirements include:

  • Basic Life Support certification
  • ACLS are required within six months of hire.
  • One of experience preferred, but new grads welcomed to apply.
