Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Obstetric Emergency Department (OB ED) is a critical member of the Labor & Delivery team, providing specialized, compassionate, and timely care to pregnant and postpartum patients presenting with urgent or emergent concerns. This role requires strong clinical assessment skills, the ability to prioritize rapidly changing conditions, and a commitment to delivering safe, evidence-based care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. The OB ED RN collaborates closely with obstetricians, midwives, anesthesiologists, and the broader multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and exceptional patient experience.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. BSN graduates preferred.

• Licensure: Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in Connecticut.

• Certification: BLS required.

Work Schedule

Full Time 30-hour Night Shift

• 12-hour shifts

• Scheduled Weekend & Holidays are required
