Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Obstetric Emergency Department (OB ED) at Saint Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury, CT. The RN will perform rapid maternal–fetal assessments, triage, and timely interventions in a fast-paced, high-acuity Labor & Delivery setting.

The role requires NS licensure in CT, BSN preferred, and BLS certification. You will work 12-hour night shifts, with weekends and holidays scheduled, and receive a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Licensure as an RN in Connecticut.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Conducts rapid triage and maternal–fetal assessments and initiates interventions per protocols.
• Manages obstetric emergencies and coordinates care transitions for laboring patients.
• Maintains documentation and readiness of equipment, upholding safety and regulatory standards.
