Overview

This position requires travel and prior experience in Long Term Care. CommuniCare owns and operates over 130 facilities across 6 states. We are seeking an experienced DON to serve as RN Mobile Director of Nursing, covering facilities in the Parkersburg, WV region, with travel to various sites as needed.

Job Requirements

• Current RN license in West Virginia
• 3-5 years of experience as DON
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to oversee multiple facilities and travel as needed
• Knowledge of nursing practices, laws, regulations in long-term care
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Current CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Ensure facility compliance with clinical policies and procedures
• Conduct weekly visits for intervention, auditing, and training
• Train new nursing management staff
• Assist during State Surveys and in Plan of Correction processes
