RN - Mobile Director of Nursing - Long Term Care

**This Job Requires Travel and Previous Long Term Care Experience**

CommuniCare Health Services owns and operates over 130 facilities in 6 states. CommuniCare is currently recruiting an experienced DON to assume the role of RN Mobile Director of Nursing. This RN Mobile DON position covers our West Virginia facilities in the Parkersburg, WV region and requires travel to various facilities as needed.

Estimated annual pay rate: $110k-120k/annually

Job Requirements:

• Current RN license in the state of West Virginia
• Minimum of 3 - 5 years experience as DON
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to multi-task and oversee functions at multiple facilities
• Ability to travel, sometimes for an extended period, to facilities within the region, as needed
• Knowledge of nursing and medical practices, procedures, laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to long-term care administration
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Effective communication with employees and families regarding their issues
• Must maintain current CPR certification

The Mobile Director of Nursing will be responsible to:

• Evaluate facility compliance with clinical policies, procedures, and care standards
• Visit facilities weekly for intervention, audits, and training
• Monitor readiness for State Survey and assist during surveys
• Aid in the Plan of Correction process
