Director of Nursing (DON) – Olney, IL Area

We are looking for a solid Director of Nursing for a small nursing home near Olney, IL that is part of a company known for its positive culture and employee retention.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and perform supervisory duties for Nursing Department
• Develop and implement resident care services
• Maintain state and federal regulatory compliance
• Provide specialized training for staff as needed
• Proactively respond to survey and/or standard of care issues
• Provide adequate staffing at all times based on facility and census requirements

Qualifications

• Prior SNF Nurse management experience; ADONs encouraged to apply
• Demonstrated ability to successfully lead department through the survey process
• Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (BSN preferred) with a valid state RN license and CPR certification
