RN - Mobile Director of Nursing - Long Term Care

**This Job Requires Travel and Previous Long Term Care Experience**

CommuniCare Health Services owns and operates over 130 facilities across 6 states. We are currently seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to serve as RN Mobile Director of Nursing. This position covers our West Virginia facilities in the Parkersburg region and involves travel to various facilities as needed.

Are you qualified to join us as RN Mobile Director of Nursing?

Job Requirements:

• Current RN license in West Virginia
• 3-5 years of experience as a DON
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to multitask and oversee multiple facilities
• Willingness and ability to travel within the region, sometimes for extended periods
• Knowledge of nursing practices, laws, regulations, and guidelines related to long-term care administration
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Effective communication with staff and families
• Current CPR certification

The Mobile Director of Nursing will be responsible for:

• Assessing facility compliance with clinical policies and procedures
• Visiting facilities weekly for interventions, audits, and training
• Training new nursing management staff
• Preparing facilities for State Surveys and assisting during inspections
• Supporting the Plan of Correction process
