Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, Missouri seeks an experienced RN to join General Surgery 3W on a part-time basis. You will apply the nursing process, coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary teams, and uphold patient rights and confidentiality.

The ideal candidate has an accredited nursing program degree, an active RN license, BLS certification, and at least 2 years of direct patient care. Weekend or evening coverage may be required; Mercy offers comprehensive benefits.

Location: Mercy Hospital South - 10010 Kennerly Rd, St. Louis, Missouri 63128

Schedule: Part time | 24 hours/week

Shift: Days 7a-7p

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

Licensure

• Responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure where nursing duties are performed.
• Must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

Certification

• Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or completion within 30 days of hire.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of patient care experience required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Supervisor experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Prolonged standing and walking during shifts.
• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
