Job summary

Essentia Health seeks an experienced nurse at Northern Pines Medical Center to organize and deliver comprehensive nursing care. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, coordinating with a team of licensed staff to ensure safety and quality outcomes.

You will respond to emergencies, assist with patient transport, and uphold the facility’s mission and regulatory requirements. A BSN or ADN and active RN licensure are required, with certifications such as BCLS, ACLS, CALS/TNCC,

Qualifications

• BSN or ADN from an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in appropriate state.
• BCLS certification or ability to obtain within 1 month.
• ACLS certification or ability to obtain within 1 year.
• CALS certification or TNCC, or MN State Trauma Modules within 1 year (where applicable).
• ENPC or PALS certification (or ability to obtain within 1 year).

Responsibilities

• Organize and provide nursing care through assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation.
• Delegate aspects of care to other nursing personnel per licensure and job descriptions.
• Respond to emergencies and assist with safe patient transport and transport coordination.
• Support mission and goals of Essentia Health and comply with Joint Commission/regulatory standards.
