• BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an ADN; must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
• 1 year of RN experience, in critical care units or 1 year in critical care setting or completion of a critical care fellowship.
• BLS certification required on start; ACLS within 6 months for CCU; PALS within 6 months for Pediatric; chemo card within 3 months for Infusion Center units.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, evidence-based nursing care.
• Perform thorough patient assessments and interpret data to set care priorities.
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care and coordinate discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other disciplines.

Inova Loudoun Hospital is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Labor and Delivery Unit. This role will be PRN, hours are as needed and are subject to changed based on unit needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education:BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associate's Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
• Experience: Required 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse, for Critical Care units, 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a critical care setting or completion of a critical care fellowship.
• Certification:Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association required upon start | For Critical Care Units: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support - Within 6 Months | For Pediatric Units: Pediatric Advanced Life Support- Within 6 Months | For Infusion Center Units: Obtain chemo card- within 3 months of hire

Licensure: Licensed or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse or an active multi-state Registered Nurse license

Preferred Qualifications:

• Two years of recent Registered Nurse (RN) inpatient experience on a Labor and Delivery Unit
