Lifepoint Health® is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Clyde, NC. This is a full-time position on day shift, offering a $15,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates committing to two years. Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, administering specialized treatments, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Overview

Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU, full time (day shift). 3x12s, day shift (7a–7p). Holidays and weekends required. $15,000 sign-on bonus for day shift with a 2-year commitment for eligible candidates.

Responsibilities

Join a 12-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) staffed with Registered Nurses and CNAs. Provide comprehensive patient assessments, administer specialized treatments, monitor critical conditions, and contribute to achieving optimal patient outcomes. Execute timely and accurate documentation related to medical necessity. Maintain and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient. Support a dynamic, teamwork-oriented environment that emphasizes critical thinking and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Current North Carolina or compact-state Registered Nurse license.
• Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• AHA ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.
• Critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment.
