Job summary

BAYADA Hospice in Rutland, VT is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our compassionate hospice team. You will perform home visits, administer medications, and provide comfort care to clients in Addison and Rutland counties.

Candidates should have a VT RN license and at least one year of clinical experience; prior home health or hospice preferred but not required. EMR familiarity and ability to travel are a plus.

Qualifications

• Prior home care and/or hospice experience strongly preferred, but not required.
• Solid computer skills; EMR familiarity preferred.
• Ability to travel to cases as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Making home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
• Performing administration of medication, wound care, treatments and comfort care.
• Monitoring clients' conditions and reporting changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager.
• Following up with, executing, and documenting doctors' orders.
• Performing client assessments as necessary.
• Occasional on call after hours and/or weekends.

BAYADA Hospice is looking for compassionate and dedicated Full Time Registered Nurses (RN) to join our team in the Hospice office, located in Rutland VT. This office services hospice clients on a per visit basis in Addison and Rutland counties. (Rutland, Pittsford, Pittsfield, Killington)

Prior home care and/or hospice experience strongly preferred, but not required. As a hospice nurse (RN), you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team that provides palliative care to clients, affording them the opportunity to receive the medical care required to remain at home.

Responsibilities for a Hospice RN - Registered Nurse include

Qualifications for a Hospice RN - Registered Nurse include

• A current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in VT.
• A minimum of one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
• Prior home care and/or hospice experience strongly preferred, but not required.
• Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
• Ability to travel to cases as assigned.

Base Pay, depending upon qualifications and subject to negotiation:

$42-$48 per hour
