Job summary

Phoenix Hospice in Springfield, MO seeks a Weekend Admissions RN to lead hospice admissions and skilled nursing visits, delivering compassionate care to patients and families. You’ll educate families on CHF, COPD, and diabetes while providing wound care and medication management in a collaborative team setting.

• Full Time: 30-40hrs | 10-hour Shifts | Saturday - Monday

You’ll guide patients and families from curative care into comfort-focused care with compassion, clinical excellence, and dignity. This role blends strong clinical judgment with deep human connection—addressing not only physical needs, but also emotional, spiritual, and psychosocial support.

You’ll collaborate closely with intake coordinators, hospice consultants, medical directors, facility staff, and physicians to ensure every admission is smooth, thoughtful, and centered on what matters most.

Requirements
