Job summary

Hi-Desert Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for a per diem position in a medical/surgical setting. The 12-hour day shifts include 7:00am–7:30pm with some weekends and holidays. You will provide high-quality nursing care, develop care plans, and educate patients for discharge planning.

Qualifications include CA RN license, CPR, ACLS/PALS within 1 year, and dysrhythmia competency; 1 year acute care experience preferred. Join a team dedicated to compassionate, skilled care.

Qualifications

• RN license for California is required.
• CPR certification must be current.
• ACLS and PALS must be completed within 12 months of hire.
• Familiarity with dysrhythmia interpretation or competency.
• At least 1 year of acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality professional nursing care in medical/surgical units.
• Develop and implement care plans based on assessments.
• Coordinate with staff to assign tasks and ensure safe patient care.
• Educate patients and families about discharge planning.
• Administer medications safely and document accurately.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and rights.
