Job summary

Desert Regional Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the night shift on a per diem basis. You will provide comprehensive nursing care, perform assessments, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualified candidates hold a CA RN license, ADN or BSN, and current BLS/ACLS. Strong communication and prioritization skills are essential to support patient safety and smooth unit operations.

Qualifications

• Current CA Registered Nurse License
• ADN or BSN required
• Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certification
• Effective verbal and written communication to interact with patients, families and staff
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to changing conditions

Responsibilities

• Provide total nursing care and assessment for assigned patients
• Educate patients and families to attain optimal health
• Administer medications, including IVs and blood products, per policy
• Coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary team for patient care
• Document and communicate changes in patient condition promptly
