Job summary

Desert Care Network in Southern California is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a per diem role across our Palm Springs area facilities. You will provide compassionate patient care across diverse units, with a focus on safety, collaboration, and clinical excellence.

In this rotating shift position, the RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, administer medications, monitor vitals, and educate patients and families.

Qualifications

• Current California Registered Nurse license.
• ADN or BSN from an accredited program.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification (maintain continuously).
• ACLS certification (maintain continuously).
• Ability to independently manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Obtains information and interprets it in terms of the patient’s needs.
• Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development.
• Cares for two critically ill patients.
• Administers medications, including IVs, blood and blood products; monitors dosage and route.
• Documents and reassesses patient condition with accurate reporting.
• Acts as a liaison among patients, physicians, and health disciplines.
