Job summary

AMG Specialty Hospital- Lafayette is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for night shifts in a long-term acute care setting. You will provide direct patient care, coordinate with physicians, and support ICU/LTAC care plans in a high-stability environment.

Qualifications include Louisiana RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, and ICU/LTAC experience. Sign-on bonuses up to $10,000 and comprehensive benefits are available; ESOP makes AMG employee-owned.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Louisiana RN Licensure unencumbered.
• ICU/Critical care/LTAC experience preferred for sign-on bonus.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in LTAC setting.
• Communicate with physicians and healthcare team about patient condition and treatment responses.
• Monitor patient status, administer medications, and support sedation/pain management as needed.

AMG Specialty Hospital-Lafayette isoffering up to a $10,000 Sign-On Bonus* for Full Time Registered Nurses, RN for Night Shifts with ICU/LTAC experience and 2 years minimum experience!

Some of the medicalconditions that are commonly treated include but are not limited to;Respiratory Failure requiring ventilation, vapotherm, high flow, bipap, cpap,and nasal cannula. Depending on the complexity of these patients, they canrequire sedation/pain management, pressor management, andcardiac/anti-arrhythmic management. Complicated infections requiring long-termIV antibiotics. Chronic non-healing wounds requiring extensive treatmentwith wound vacs and frequent dressing changes. RN'swillberesponsible for direct and indirect patient care in the long-term acutecare setting. Ability to communicate with physicians, CCO/co-workers, asappropriate about changes in patient's clinical condition including results ofdiagnostic studies and symptomatology. Respond quickly and accurately tochanges in conditionor response to treatment. Additionally, is able toperform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.

Shift Differentials are paid for all Night and Weekend Shifts!

$10,000 Sign-On Bonus or Tuition Reimbursement is offered as per the terms of an Employment Assistant Agreement with a 2-year minimum commitment.
