Job summary

AMG Physical Rehabilitation Hospital – Lafayette is seeking a Full-Time RN for night shifts with rehab or med-surg experience. You will deliver nursing care, perform assessments, and contribute to discharge planning while collaborating with physicians and the care team.

Graduate from an accredited nursing program with current Louisiana RN licensure and BLS. CRRN preferred; read English clearly and work well with patients and families in a dynamic rehab setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Louisiana RN licensure in good standing.
• One–two years of rehab or med-surg experience or training.
• BLS Certification.
• CRRN Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide general nursing care to hospital patients through assessments and documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team for patient care decisions.
• Initiate and update individualized care plans and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate nursing notes, prioritizing patient needs and safety.

Full-Time Registered Nurses, RN for Night Shifts, with physical rehab or med-surge experience!

RNs will provide general nursingcare to patients in the hospital bycompleting a psychosocial andphysical, environmental, self-care, educational and discharge planning assessment of the patient through interview, observation and inspection, auscultation, palpitation and documents on all admissions per service line policy; Responsiblefor identifying patient's present and potentialproblems from information gathered in the initial and continued assessments;Collaborates with physicians, interdisciplinary team, client and family inmaking decisions regarding patient's need for nursing care; Initiates problem list within time frame established by service standard using approved taxonomy;Prioritizes problems based on client's health status; Establishes specific and measurable individualized client care goals; Discharge needs/plan reflective of interdisciplinary approach and are initiated on admission.

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Louisiana Registered Nurse (RN) Licensure in good standing.
• One - two years rehab or med-surg experience or training
• CRRN Certification preferred
• BLS Certification.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively and positively inEnglish.
• Possess excellent interpersonal and positive human relation skills
