Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation in Chester, NJ is recruiting a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time night shift (7PM–7:30AM, including weekday and weekend rotations). Compensation ranges from $46.00 to $61.93 per hour based on experience, plus shift differential.

The role emphasizes admissions, patient assessments, accurate EPIC documentation, and collaboration with nursing staff to meet care plans for patients with brain injuries, spinal injuries, and other complex conditions.

Qualifications

• Valid State RN License required.
• BLS required at hire.
• BSN or enrollment in BSN program preferred.
• Clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Admit and transfer patients on each shift.
• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments.

Responsibilities

On each shift, you will partner with a Nursing Assistant and handle a manageable case load.Together, you will help our patients achieve the outlined goals and milestones based on their unique patient care plan.

• Receiving admissions and/or transfers.
• Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
• Timely and accurate documentation using EPIC
• Interpreting assessment/diagnostic data, including labs and telemetry.
• Ensuring medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Instructing and counseling patients/families.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• Valid State RN License is required
• BLS is required at hire
