Job summary

Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation in West Orange, NJ is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for nights to join our inpatient rehabilitation team. This full-time role features nights 7PM-7:30AM, with compensation of $46.00/Hour - $61.93/Hour (Based on Experience) plus shift differential.

You will collaborate with Nursing Assistants, perform admissions/transfers, conduct comprehensive patient assessments, document in EPIC, and ensure orders are accurately processed to support patient milestones.

Qualifications

• Valid State RN license is required.
• BLS certification required at hire.
• BSN or enrollment in a BSN program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and transfers.
• Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
• Timely and accurate documentation using EPIC.
• Interpretation of assessment/diagnostic data, including labs and telemetry.
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Instruct and counselor patients/families.
• On each shift, partner with a Nursing Assistant to manage a workload.

Location: 1199 Pleasant Valley Way, West Orange, NJ

Schedule: Full-Time, NIGHTS 7PM-7:30AM (Includes Weekday & Weekend Shifts)

Compensation: $46.00/Hour - $61.93/Hour (Based on Experience)+ Shift Differential

On each shift, you will partner with a Nursing Assistant and handle a manageable case load. Together, you will help our patients achieve the outlined goals and milestones based on their unique patient care plan.
